Club Connect: Meet... Pride Alliance

Pride Alliance is just one way to get involved at 麻豆传媒.

Galloway, N.J. 鈥 Walking through the 麻豆传媒 campus, whether during the University Weekend parade or the Get Involved Fair, you鈥檒l find students from all backgrounds coming together to celebrate our campus community. 

One of the year's biggest events is Pride Fest, which is scheduled to start at noon on Friday, April 24, in the Townsend Residential Life Center (TRLC) Quad. The festival serves as a vibrant end-of-semester celebration, featuring activities, performances and a space for students to embrace their identities together.

Among the many student organizations fostering an inclusive community is , a group dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ students.

鈥淧ride Alliance is an organization that helps queer students find a community of people who share similar experiences,鈥 said Jeece Harriott, a student from Egg Harbor Township who serves as the club's vice president. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a safe space where everyone is welcome.鈥

The organization is actively seeking new members, and Harriott says an ideal member is 鈥渟omeone who is passionate about advocating for the LGBTQ community and interested in supporting and engaging with fellow students on campus.鈥

While Pride Alliance does not hold regular club meetings, it hosts a variety of events throughout the semester, offering students opportunities to connect, share experiences and celebrate their identities.
