NOYES ARTS GARAGE, ATLANTIC CITY:

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Noyes Arts Garage of �鶹��ý is excited to introduce new exhibitions and events for the summer season. Visit the galleries to see: “Mingled Mediums: Christina Massey;” “Kindred Spirits: Fineberg and Weiss;” and “Transitions: Maria Yony López Marulanda.” The Arts Garage is open late for a Second Friday reception on July 14 from 6 - 8 p.m. Visit the art galleries, enjoy live music by Iyanna Mullins, light refreshments, and wine tastings courtesy of the Iron Room.

“Mingled Mediums:Christina Massey” is a solo exhibition, on view now through Oct. 1. With a sensitivity to materials, form and process, Christina Massey explores the boundaries of painting and sculpture with her abstract, textural work. Drawing inspiration from textiles and re-purposed products, her work brims with texture, color, form and pattern. (Photo 1)

“Kindred Spirits:Fineberg and Weiss” is a joint exhibition of work on view now through Oct. 1. Presenting two local artists, both of whom spent their lives enriching the art scene in southern New Jersey, Mili Dunn Weiss and Bernard Fineberg shared the goal of nurturing the arts in their communities. Both were born and educated in Philadelphia prior to relocating to the Jersey Shore. Weiss and Fineberg exemplify the spirit of art and culture in our region. (Photos 2 and 3)

“Transitions: Maria Yony López Marulanda” runs now through Aug. 27 is a solo exhibition of paintings fueled by the artist’s identity as an intensely social being. Striving to understand the actions of mankind, Marulanda explores the human tendency towards chaos and self-destruction. Examining our inability to learn from our mistakes, she comments on the consequences that affect all living beings, as well as our planet. (Photo 4)                             

The Arts Garage will host a watercolor class with Stephanie Segal Miller on Sunday, July 16, from 3 – 5:30 p.m. Class fee: $30 includes instruction and parking. Information and registration: info@stephaniesegal.com, subject “Watercolor Class.”

The Arts Garage presents “Laughter is the Best Medicine,” a free SCOSA program, from 1 – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26. Join Maryann Prudhomme, a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience, to learn how you can use humor and laughter to feel better and age well. NOYES GALLERIES AT STOCKTON’S KRAMER HALL, HAMMONTON

HAMMONTON, N.J. - Downtown Hammonton is hosting Third Thursday on July 20 from 6 – 9 p.m., the perfect night to relax after a "ruff" day. This month’s theme is “Dog Days of Summer.” Join us for light refreshments at the Noyes Museum Galleries at Kramer Hall, open late from 6 – 8 p.m. The streets come alive with activities, food, music and fun during this town-wide event.  The Noyes Museum Shop will also be open latefrom 6 – 9 p.m. Stop by for a DIY pet-themed magnet and our annual Summer Sale. All regularly priced items are 10 percent off. Members receive an additional 10 percent off.

“Paint Hammonton: Plein-Air Exhibition” is on view through July 30. Artists took to the streets and fields of Hammonton to paint, delivering stunning work for this annual competition. The event attracts many artists from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia as well as talented New Jersey artists. The Noyes Galleries are free and open to the public. (Photo 6)

Fred Winslow Noyes Jr.: Paintings is on exhibit through October 29. Co-founder with his wife, Ethel, of the Noyes Museum of Art, Fred Noyes was a New Jersey-based painter and entrepreneur whose later work was inspired by the pure colors and forms of the Fauvist artists. These abstract works are vivacious, rhythmic and colorful, conveying the joy of life. (Photo 7)

STOCKTON ART GALLERY, STOCKTON UNIVERSITY MAIN CAMPUS, GALLOWAY

GALLOWAY, N.J. – This July, the Noyes Museum of Art of �鶹��ý reintroduces its popular Summer Art Camps for children ages 6 - 13, Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for three weeks from July 10 through July 28.

The camps will take place at �鶹��ý’s Art Gallery on the main campus, located at 101 Vera King Farris Drive in Galloway, NJ.

The Noyes Art Camps:

2. Pirate Art Camp, July 17 – July 21
